❝ how does getting a commission work? ❞

Getting a commission is super simple! Here’s what the little journey usually looks like:

01 — Tell me what you’re looking for!
Take a peek at my commission options and decide what you’d like. If you’re not sure which option fits your idea, just ask! You can tell me your idea, references, colors, preferences, and anything else you think I should know.

02 — Submit your commission request!
Fill out the commission form with all the important details. The more information you give me, the better I can understand exactly what you have in mind. References are always welcome!

03 — I’ll review everything!
Once your request is submitted, I’ll look everything over and make sure I understand what you’re asking for. If I need clarification or have any questions, I’ll reach out before we move forward.

04 — We agree on the details + price!
We’ll confirm what’s included, the final price, and any other important details before I start. No surprise work or mystery pricing.

05 — Payment time!
Once everything is confirmed, payment is made according to the terms listed for the commission. Please make sure you’re comfortable with the agreed details before paying!

06 — I get to work!
And now the fun part! I’ll start creating your commission. Depending on the type of commission, I may send you progress updates, previews, or ask for feedback along the way.

07 — Review + little tweaks!
When your commission is ready for review, you’ll get a chance to check it over. Any included revisions can be made at this stage. Bigger changes or requests outside the original commission may require an additional fee.

08 — Finished! ♡
Once everything is approved, I’ll send over your finished commission in the appropriate format/files. You get to take your shiny new thing and enjoy it!

❝can i get a quote before commissioning? ❞

of course! if you have an idea but aren’t sure how much it will cost, you’re welcome to contact me for an estimate before committing to anything.just send me a description of what you’d like along with any references you have. i can let you know what commission option fits best, whether any additional fees would apply, and give you an estimated total.a quote is not a confirmed commission, and you won’t be expected to pay until we’ve discussed the details and agreed to move forward. ♡please keep in mind that the final price may change if the scope of the commission changes significantly from what was originally quoted.

❝ What will you draw? What wont you? ❞

please note I will not draw any of the bolded bullets under any circumstances, otherwise don’t be afraid to ask as long as you, the client, understand that I am not experienced and the quality will vary !!

❝ what do you need from me? ❞

please fill out my commission form completely and send it along with appropriate references !references can include images, color palettes, examples of styles you like, character references, or anything else that helps communicate your idea.if you don’t have a complete reference or need me to create/design something from scratch, that’s okay! a +20% design fee may apply when references are missing or insufficient.also patience and communication are always appreciated!

❝ what if i don’t know exactly what i want? ❞

that’s completely okay! you don’t need to know all the terminology or have every little detail figured out before contacting me.send me whatever you have — a general idea, references, colors, examples, or even just a description of the vibe you’re going for. i can ask questions and help narrow things down from there.just keep in mind that a lack of usable references may result in a design fee.

❝ how long will my commission take? ❞

my typical turnaround time is around 1–4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the commission, the amount of references provided, and my current queue.commissions are generally handled first-come, first-served. rush commissions may be available for an additional fee and are placed in a priority position in the queue.you can also check my Trello Queue to see what i’m currently working on.please keep in mind that turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. life happens, and more complicated commissions may take a little longer.

❝ can i see progress on my commission? do you have a queue? ❞

yes! i provide updates at important stages of the commission, such as sketch, lineart, coloring, and rendering. you may also receive a watermarked preview for approval before final delivery. ♡some commissions naturally have more visible progress than others, so the amount of updates you receive can vary. if you need to see something specific before i continue, just let me know when we discuss your commission!if you would like your commission or its progress to remain private, please let me know before work begins.if i have multiple commissions at once, i organize them through Trello so you can see what i’m currently working on and get an idea of where your commission is in the process.please keep in mind that the queue is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion schedule. commissions can take different amounts of time depending on complexity, revisions, and other circumstances.

❝ can i request changes? ❞

yes, within reason! ♡you’ll have an opportunity to request revisions during the appropriate stage of your commission. small corrections or adjustments that fit within the original request are generally no problem.clients may request up to two major revisions during the appropriate stages of the commission. larger changes, completely new ideas, or changes to something that was already approved may require an additional fee. i’ll always let you know before doing any extra work that would cost more.please try to include as much information as possible in your original request and references so i know what you’re looking for from the start.

❝ do you accept rush commissions? ❞

sometimes! rush commissions depend on my current workload and whether i’m able to fit your commission in without disrupting the queue. if my current workload allows it, rush commissions can be placed into a priority position for a +30% rush fee.if you have a deadline, please tell me when you inquire rather than after your commission has already been started. i can’t guarantee that every deadline will be possible, but i’ll let you know what i can realistically accommodate.

❝ How do I pay? ❞

payment is currently accepted through PayPal. alternative payment methods such as Ko-fi or Stripe may be available upon request.orders under $100 require full payment upfront. orders over $100 require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due before final delivery.invoices must be paid within 48 hours unless otherwise agreed upon.please don’t send any payment until your commission has been discussed and the final price has been confirmed !

I also accept alternate forms of payment!
These are non-refundable and do not involve direct monetary exchange, but instead function as payment for a product or service. (See section II of my TOS for more details.)

You can choose an item from my wishlist that matches the value of your commission.
• Art Trade
A mutual art exchange, usually based on similar value, time, or complexity.
• Gift Cards
Payment in the form of a specific service or platform (e.g. Discord Nitro, Steam games, etc.).I do not accept “exposure,” cryptocurrency, or NFTs as payment.

❝ when does work officially start? ❞

payment and work are two different parts of the process!your commission officially begins once sketching starts, rather than immediately when payment is made. this distinction is important when it comes to cancellations and refunds and how your spot in the queue works!

❝ what happens if i need to cancel? do you offer refunds? ❞

refunds depend on the stage of the commission.if i haven’t started working on your commission yet, cancellation may be possible depending on the circumstances. once work has begun, refunds may be reduced or unavailable depending on how much work has already been completed.chargebacks without contacting me first will result in termination of the commission and may result in being refused future services. if something comes up and you need to cancel, please contact me as soon as possible rather than simply disappearing. i’m much more likely to be able to work something out if we communicate!

❝ what happens if i stop responding? ❞

please try to keep an eye on your email/messages while your commission is active, especially if i’m waiting on information or approval from you.clients are expected to respond within 7 days when a response is needed. if i can’t continue without your response, your commission may be temporarily paused until i hear back. this can affect your place in the queue and estimated completion time.if you know you’ll be unavailable for a while, just let me know beforehand. communication makes the whole process much easier!

❝ what happens if you’re unavailable? ❞

sometimes life happens! if i become unavailable due to an emergency, illness, a break, or another circumstance that affects my ability to work, commissions may be temporarily paused or delayed.if this affects an ongoing commission, i’ll do my best to communicate with you and let you know about any changes to the expected timeline. if i need to make a significant change to an ongoing commission, you’ll be informed.if you’re waiting for a response to a new commission inquiry, please allow 2–4 business days for a response before following up.i appreciate your patience if i need a little extra time.

❝ what will i receive? ❞

final files are delivered digitally through Google Drive or a similar file-sharing service. source/editable files are not automatically included unless they’re specifically stated as part of the commission.files will be available for 30 days, so please make sure you download and safely store your commission during that time. after the 30-day period, i cannot guarantee that the files will remain available.once your commission has been completed and delivered, further edits are not guaranteed unless otherwise agreed upon.

❝ can i use my commission on social media? ❞

yes! you’re welcome to use your commission for personal social media, profile pictures, banners, VRChat, and similar personal uses. ♡if you're using the artwork as part of monetized content, a business, advertising, products, or another income-generating use, commercial licensing may apply.

❝ can i use my commission commercially? ❞

commercial rights are not
included by default.if you intend to use your commission for a business, monetized content, products, advertising, or another income-generating purpose, please contact me about commercial licensing before commissioning.commercial licensing can cost up to 300% of the base commission price, depending on how the artwork will be used.

❝ will you post my commission? ❞

unless you request privacy beforehand, i may use completed commissions for my portfolio, website, social media, streaming, or promotional material.WIP progress may also be streamed or recorded unless you request privacy before work begins.if your commission is private, unreleased, or otherwise something you don’t want publicly shared, just let me know when commissioning!

❝ can i commission something for someone else as a gift? ❞

yes! ♡ you’re welcome to commission something as a gift for a friend, partner, family member, or anyone else.just make sure you have permission to use any references you provide, and please let me know that it’s a gift when you submit your commission request. this can help me avoid accidentally spoiling the surprise!the person receiving the artwork will still be subject to my usual usage and copyright rules. if you’re planning to give the artwork to a business, use it commercially, or include additional usage rights as part of the gift, please let me know beforehand so we can discuss licensing.if you’d like the commission to stay completely secret until the gift is given, please mention that when ordering so i know not to publicly share WIPs or the finished artwork beforehand.

❝ What program/tablet do you use? ❞

i use FireAlpaca SE for my digital artwork, along with a Kamvas 12 (2022) drawing tablet!that’s it! just me, my tablet, and an unreasonable number of layers.

By commissioning me, you agree to the terms outlined below. These Terms of Service apply to all private commissions. Please read them carefully.

i. general terms

These Terms of Service apply to all private commissions. By commissioning me, you agree to them.You must provide a clear commission request with proper references.My FAQ is considered part of these Terms and covers basic questions.I may update these Terms at any time. Clients will be informed if changes affect ongoing work.All communication must remain respectful and professional.Commission inquiries are typically responded to within 2–4 business days.

Payment is accepted via PayPal. Alternative methods (e.g. Ko-fi, Stripe) may be available on request.
• Orders under $100 require full payment upfront.
• Orders over $100 require a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance due before final delivery.All prices are in USD. Other currencies are accepted if they match the listed amount at conversion.Invoices must be paid within 48 hours unless otherwise agreed. Payment plans may be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

III. PROCESS, QUEUE & TURNAROUND

Typical turnaround is 1–4 weeks depending on complexity, references, and queue length.Updates are provided at key stages (sketch, lineart, color, etc.).Clients may request up to two major revisions. Additional revisions may incur a fee.Commissions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis unless a rush fee is applied.Work officially begins once sketching starts, not upon payment.Clients must respond within 7 days of communication. Lack of response may result in delays or cancellation.

VI. fees and add-ons

Additional fees may apply depending on complexity:• Extra characters: +70% per additional character
• Complex or risky concepts: +10% (artist discretion)
• NSFW content: $10+ depending on complexity
• Design fee (no/poor reference): +20%
• Rush fee: +30% (priority queue)
• Revision fee: applies after rendering begins
• Commercial usage fee: applies if used for business/monetized purposes

V. NSFW Commissions

NSFW includes adult, erotic, or gore-related content.Clients must confirm they are of legal age in their jurisdiction.I reserve the right to refuse or cancel NSFW commissions at my discretion.NSFW commissions may include additional fees depending on complexity.The client is responsible for legal compliance in their jurisdiction.

VI. Cancellation & Refunds

Refunds are only available if work has not begun.If I cancel a commission, a full refund will be issued.If a client cancels after work has started, refunds are partial and depend on progress.Chargebacks without prior communication will result in termination of the commission and future service refusal.I may cancel a commission due to harassment, inappropriate behavior, or lack of communication.

VII. Delivery & File Handling

Final files are delivered via Google Drive or similar service.A watermarked preview may be provided for approval.Files are available for 30 days. Clients are responsible for downloading their work.Once completed and delivered, no further edits are guaranteed unless agreed upon.

VIII. Usage Rights & Copyright

I retain full rights to the artwork.Unless otherwise agreed, I may use commissioned work for portfolios, social media, streaming, or promotion.

• Claim ownership or authorship
• Remove signatures
• Edit or heavily alter the work

IX. Commercial Usage

X. Streaming & Privacy

Work-in-progress may be streamed or recorded unless the client requests privacy beforehand.Clients may opt out of public progress sharing.

XI. Blacklist Policy

Clients who violate these terms (chargebacks, harassment, abuse) may be refused future service.
